PayPal email: bogus or genuine?

Just got this; anyone know if it's a scam?

Ah. Just answered my own question. Clicked on the link provided just out of curiousity and got warning msg from Firefox saying the page had been reported as a forgery. Link goes to a .dk site anyhoo.

Its a scam, if I remember correctly PayPal will always use your name in an email and not words like member or customer.

It's safe to assume that 99.9% of these types of emails are bogus and dangerous. I/we get bombarded with this stuff as well.
If you want to check, follow your independently bookmarked link to your bank/paypal site, NEVER the link in the email.
When in doubt, chuck it out...
. The problem with instant gratification is that it takes too bloody long...

paypal phishing is big business. As long as you manually type www.paypal.com into your browser you are safe. They do not send emails out asking you to update your account. If you need to do something they tend to tell you when you next log in.
