First read that going to London ont' train and couldn't stop laughing for the first few pages - then it got reet weird. Classic - I think that was Ian Banks first book and he'd had trouble finding anyone to publish it. The maggots scene nearly had me puking.

I found a dog eared copy of Xaviera Hollander's Happy Hooker in my parents cupboard one day, at around that age. Better than any effing Secret, I can tell you.
