I must say though, that Bangkok & Manila department stores are an absolute playround of flirtation when trying on togs, especially in their less busy periods. With a smile and a little charm it's easy and fun to collate a wee army of willing sales assistants running around eagerly bringing innappropriate and ill fitting items of clothing for your delectation. Of course, rejecting and changing your specification creates uproar, consternation, perplexion and giggles.
I hate shopping but this kinda scenario can make it bearable.
