I'm no longer confused anymore when I hear phrases that include the term 'service.'
It doesn't seem to mean what I always thought it meant.
Internal Revenue 'Service'
Postal 'Service'
Telephone 'Service'
T.V. 'Service'
Civil 'Service'
City & County Public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'
Then, recently, I overheard two farmers talking.
One of them said he had hired a bull to 'service' a few cows. BAM!!! It all came into perspective.
I now understand what all those 'service' agencies are doing to us.
I hope you are now as enlightened as I am...

not sure about the rest of you, but now I have pictures of bull mounting me from behind whilst I am asking for stamps at the counter.
