At the moment, it's a toss-up between 'Food Safari' and '1000 Places To See Before You Die' (both on DT&L). In both cases, the presenters (respectively: Maeve O'Meara; and Albin ~ ffs, what kind of a name is that ~ and Melanie Ulle) appear to do literally nothing except turn up and say vastly insightful things like "That's divine" and "Oh! My! Gosh!"

I can do that, and throw in a few "mmmn!"s and "that's fascinating" too, maybe even an "ooooh!!", just for variety's sake.

Even Angus Fontaine, whose head I would cheerfully shove into a toilet, at least does some research and makes an actual, if very annoying, contribution to that freaking show he's on.

Another question: wtf has Asha Gill done lately to still be included in DT&L's line-up of "star" hosts? Anthony Bourdain, Kevin Brauch, Bobby Chinn, Megan McCormick, Ian Wright ~ them I can understand, yes, cos we see them all the time. But Asha?

Oh. And can someone please make Janet Hsieh ('Fun Asia') stop? Ta.

While we're at it, can we also kill "Dolce Vita" and "Swiss Watch Fairs" on TVB?

I think we could probably survive on 50% less of the "Beijing Dream" series as well.
Half the episodes are years old and outdated anyway...
