Mmm, very interesting. As my son has only grown up with neutured cats, he never got to see for himself, at home, how natural 'sex' is. I did try to tell him that the first time, it's good to do it with someone you love (if possible) and to always use a condom. I wouldn't know what to say if I had had a daughter!

My 21 yr old daughter told me on a Thursday that she was going to spend the long weekend at the cottage with her first boy friend and 2 other gay guys. My immediate reaction was  . Question: Why wasn't the doggie fixed? I got mine fixed the day she turned 6 months old. Not all dogs are like their owners-- mine has a pleasant dispositon.

Indeed, but the chance of catching one is very small, and the chances of catching one that cannot be readily cured with antibiotics is minuscule. The chances of getting pregnant without contraception are not.

Why take the risk when it can be so easily avoided? And as I'm sure anyone who's ever had an STD will affirm, they're miserable, painful and humiliating.
Plus she's up at the cabin with 2 gay guys as well (and according to various stats I occasionally read, HIV infection is much higher among the gay community)... who's to say they're not all going to get drunk/high and decide to have a four-way? Or is she still at greater risk from getting pregnant than catching HIV in such a scenario?
