Everyone has their own needs and yes my husband likes to get involved with little things at home, so fooking what? And I wouldn't have the time and patience to be the interpreter everytime they want to communicate.
I'm just stating the facts of the crappy govt policy and never denying the benefits of having a live in DH and that many employers are terrible to them. But it's the foreign DH s' own choice to come work here and if they are not happy they can go back home (same goes to Beerguy) This is just crazy if youse are debating for the sake of it.

Filipinas speak English and Indos are cheap (yes, yes, I know the wage is supposed to be the same but most get underpaid). There are a few Thai helpers around (5,000 or so I think). Used to know a couple when I first came here, but they married Chinese blokes.
