The Turks were the best team for 90% of the match but of course FIFA rules dictate that the German's must win despite being the 2nd class team they are.
Just hope the Russians beat the Spanish coz they will def put the Krauts in their place. Lots of history to take care of.
At least the whole world now hate the German football team and not just us brits.

What a great result, play leaden footed football for most of the match, score 3 great goals and p**s off the world!!!

And come Sunday, Michael Ballack will lift up the trophy at about 5:00am HK Time

Shame we had to miss the 2 goals this morning. I was cursing my head off at nowtv, but later found out there were major blackouts in Austria and the whole world suffered loss of pictures. Imagine how p**sed the Germans and Turks watching on the tele must have been. That kind of thing could cause riots!
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than open ones mouth and remove all doubt.

This 3am or whatever showtime really doesn't work so all this is effectively ignored over here as well.
Shame though that Germans won the Turks, at least if they are still as boring as they used to be back in the dayz.

Possibly the Turks were ok, Al Jazeera (and a local Schweizer channel SRG) continued to show pictures through the otherwise world wide black out....
Klose's goal was a carbon copy of the Schweinsteiger free kicks against Portugal and the Turkish goal was a soft one for Lehmann to give away, beaten at the near post under his body....

I'm going for the Russians, with Arshavin pulling the strings, I can see an upset.

So much for my predictions. The Russians got a solid beating. Now the Dutch contingent are officially out of the picture.
Let's hope the Spaniards can rip apart the Germans like they did the Russians in the 2nd half this morning.
