Wan Chai isn't half as bad as it's made out to be. You pick your bars, you pick your company.
plenty of western women go to carnegies, devils advocate, spicy fingers and so on. you wouldn't feel comfortable in places full of indos or filipinas - ok some are hookers or whatever, but others go there just for a good time which they can't have in their own countries.

I can't see much difference morally in paying for a shag or shagging just because you find each other attractive enough to shag. It's - a shag. I suppose some high minded gits think that you can only shag if you love each other very much and want to make babies to keep lord jesus christ allf**kingmighty happy. But to most people - it's a shag.
If a bar has hookers in - so what - the bar has drunks in, smokers in, wife beaters in, gays in, fraudsters, bankers, insurers, jews, left footers, muslims, people with fake tits, tans and accents.
Too much time wasted wondering and not enough time on the ICL frankly.

I agree with LT on all that. I've no problem in principle with prostitution. It's the trafficking of women under false pretences on unreasonable contracts (and often under age) that I feel strongly about.
One of the minor traffickers who was locked up here a few months ago was a schoolteacher in The Philippines so she had a ready source of recruits. She is from a town not too far away from where Mrs smog and I have our house, but there didn't seem to be any scandal at all over there - everything seems to just get hushed up at that end.
