Not sure if you've noticed but it's started to get a bit cooler....or did you get them at end of season prices ?

laughs.....good point Bloke 6 monthsago i bought other things,.....and now it was time for new lighting, and as i enjoyed the comforts of celing fan/lights before i wanted to have this again.

never mind the cooler weather coming now as i hate stillstanding air, so i use a fan anyway all year through :)

You should ask earlier. We sale the same fans for a fraction of the cost you paid. If you need some spare parts for your fans, please let me know. I know the manufacturer in china who make the fans for the captioned company.

there's a reverse function for most ceiling fans that would work for wintery climates so don't worry gdv about getting the fans late in the summer season.

Mango,
Does your company also specialises in some NOT so major upgrades regarding kitchen organisation and appliances?
Not a huge project, only for one household.
New hood eventually with external evacuation, Corian worktable upgrade integrating induction cook pits, electric boiler for sink only, etc…If affirmative, I’ll send you a PM for a quote.

xyz,

what does reverse fcn do, apart from churning the opposite direction?

Does it make it warmer and still the air for the wintry season?.... intrigued....

Sabi its simpole, in winter time you dont want to have air blow over you, as it will make you feel cold, so instead it blows upwards in stead of down.

in other words still circulate air without giving you the shivers, and in case you use a heater this means even distribution of warm air also.

i could not have said it better !!
but here's a more "technical" definition

Ceiling fans are more than a cooling device. It can also more effectively distribute heat throughout your home. Warm air rises, cool air can become trapped near floor level. This accumulation of air layers can be a problem during colder months, and in rooms with high or domed ceilings. A ceiling fan breaks up the cool and warm layers, making the overall room temperature uniform. By simply flipping a switch to reverse the fan's normal, warm air is moved across the ceiling and down the walls. This distributes room heat without creating a cooling draft. The result is that warm air is where you need it - at the level you live in, not on the ceiling.
