yes, some poeple can afford it, but they usual not stupid enough to rent such tiny space for that sort of money. better you heading back to your agent and drop the price to a realistic 8-10k per month, then you not have try to rip off poeple in forums.

actually, the market price about my flat is around 13,000 - 14,000. OK.. You can check with the agents. What I think you don't know the actual address... nevermind. It is next to One silver Sea.

You get the wrong meaning. What I mean is the normal market price is around 13-14k. But I ask for 16k. Come on.......

Back to the original poster ... I agree about finding your school first. It is VERY difficult to get your kids into some schools here and impossible to do so really until you arrive. Consider a serviced apartment for a couple of months first up. Then you need to triangulate with your workplace, though really it is more important that your kids are close to home ... there are kids here who have a one hour bus trip to and from their schools (due to traffic and pick up/put down rather than absolute distance) and that is pretty hard for a 6 year old. You should be able to find a good three bedroom apartment for that money, though. If you move away from the "desirable" areas like Mid Levels Repulse Bay, Stanley etc and go to somewhere like Pokfulam or Sai Kung/Clearwater you will get a bigger place for the money.

Keep asking. You might even find a dumbass to pay that price for a shoebox. Afraid it won't be one from this site. Thank goodness for a xp site that allows correct information. Thank you HK-guy and Serverbloke!

Firstly, Olympic is the pits - high-rise hash despite some flats with nice interiors.
Secondly, family place especially for preggies, toddlers, primary schoolers - try Discovery Bay; for that budget, you could get some nice space, views and not be near traffic (although one cannot run away from the general pollution in this region, get a place with lots of sea breezes blowing through), decent club facilities and a community of like-minded people.
