About men. Your man, your ex-man, your dad, your brother, whatever. What about him that appeals to you - and doesn't have to be sexual of course.

Me - sense of humour is probably close to the top. Let you in on others later [:p].

My dad - Family man. Is a person who I can talk to seriously about whats going on in the world. His opinions are the total opposite of mine because he thinks too simply sometimes. However the downside is, he doesn't normally voice out much.

Ex - Hmm... I don't know... always supportive and understanding about my life I guess... and we were able to have interesting conversations about stuff...

Brother - Always very focussed on the fact that I am his sister. Whenever my parents told him anything nasty about me, he will say 'no matter what you say, what she does, she is my sister and your daughter.' He has a stupid sense of humour though but he cracks me up all the time.

Boyfriends - cheeky grin and an attitude to go with it.
Dad - Eyes full of love all the time.
Brother - when I got dumped and was devastated said "Well, I would never normally do this, but do you want me to go over and beat him up?" Of course we agreed that he didn't have to, but it was just what I needed to hear.
Best Friend - up front answers on relationship and sex questions - even when he is blushing and dying of embarassment (it's ok - I do the same for him)

Men of ability: those good at getting things done.

Success, not only financial, is a sign of good things in a person, both nature and nurture as it demands character and self-discipline to deal with changes.

It ultimately does translate into sexual as it implies attractive qualities that make one appeal more than the other.

Even in a family member, it is sexual as it forms the basis for wider choice in natural selection. One seeks that feature that one likes in the clan exposed to while growing up, then transposes it into society in the sub-conscious search for mating opportunities. Finally, it translates to our role as mother, in nurturing our offspring to become the best and the fittest as we see it, in preparation for life and our own immortality through their genes.

You could be right, there Sabi. I just realised that the thing I value highly in all the important men in my life is their commitment to family and a willingness to do the hard yards for the sake of family. Hope I have passed that onto the next generation.

Hair, Hair, and more hair. Although, depending on the shape of the head (the one with the eyes, ears, nose e.t.c.) being bald is also attractive.

I'm bored, I'm pi*sy, and, I have no shame.
