It's the Kissel trial. It has been covered to death (pardon the pun) in the SCMP and on this forum.

A bit sterile isn't it? Plus you're a bit isolated - no neighbourhood to speak of is there?

I live in Parkview now - and I know all about Tower 18 and the Kissels and all that ... doesn't interest me ... I am trying to MEET people that live in Parkview - not an easy thing to do ... so I figured I would ask if anyone on these board actually live there and want to actually compare stories or meet up for drinks, the gym ...
I am really trying people - to have a socially good time here ... it isn't too easy ... Parkview is really isolated ... and creeks a lot ... kinda scary ...

I don't live in Parkview. I've visited a friend there though. What do you mean it 'creeks' a lot? I didn't notice any creeking. It's quite a brightly lit place and there's lots of people around.

Why don't you move then? For the money you're paying there you could live somewhere nice like Pok Fu Lam or Kennedy Road.

What's so nice about Kennedy Road? It's perpetually dug up and there're huge traffic jams because of the schools.

Actually, you are completely correct. But some of the apartments are older, and therefore have larger rooms, high ceilings, balconies etc. It's also near the greenery of Hong Kong park.

I try to stay away from close encounters with birds these days.
What zoo are you talking about?

The floors and ceilings at Parkview creek - they really do ... and when the wind is howling - oh you hear the strangest sounds ... yeah the place is well lit and we have 15 month lease ... I LOVE our flat - perfect for me, husby and the three monsters ... just the place was not what I had hoped it would be - lots of people but no real social interaction unless it involves kids ...

Better not go to Oz if you don't like creeks.
