Since we don't have a charity forum (yet), I'm posting this here.

PS You will be sponsoring a United Nations programme.
If you can't join the walk you can contribute by clicking at the website. The corporate sponsors will then make a donation in your name to feed a child for one day.

I joined http://www.plan-international.org/ a long time ago, and I still fully support them. It's a small donation for me/us, but it can make a lifetime difference to the children involved;
