I am looking for input on what do to with 4 days in Vietnam. I would like to see one city but mostly spend time by the beach. Thanks!!!

Which part of Vietnam are you going to? I just came back from a 3-day trip to HCMC. Spent a day there and the next to Vung Tau. Vung is about an hour on the boat and it's on the coast. Lovely little town. You can chill out by the beach. But you do know that Vietnam is not famous for its beaches!

Vung Tau is now famous for Gary Glitter.
The town was quite pleasant but I thought the beach was a bit s**tty Spunkie, what with that great big road in front of it and all the building rubble lying around. Or did I see the wrong part of it?

Hence i said Vietnam is not famous for its beaches! You're better off chilling by a poolside at the Rex or something.
