Has to be our favourite so far. The scenery is amazing, but the people and their history even more so. How nice to see stars in the sky!
This province has shown resistance again both Genghis Khan and Mao but it was where the Brits etc delivered goods during WW2, so the elders remember westerners for this.
We didn't get to Dali - next time! Such a huge area, I think it would be worth hiring a car and driver for a fortnight or so.
