Please tell me why do all of us close eyes when we kiss? Is it beacuse of involvement or because it looks funny with the big eyes when we are kissing??

I remember reading something about this. About 60% of the brain is devoted to sight. Maybe it is just a chance to feel instead of see? Anyway - who wants to look up someone's nostrils at a passionate moment?

maybe closing your eyes concentrates the feeling through your lips/mouth...makes the feelings more intense? lips, apparently have an enormous amount of nerve endings. a didgerdoo teacher told me that a side effect to playing didge' was that it stimulated the nerve endings and helped in relaxation.

Lol Chris.... if both peek at the same time they close their eyes once again and think "Man how ugly was he/she looking with such big,popping open eyes" Basically the fun of kissing is gone!!

Ya, npg,eye lids will work as blind folds...thast why most of us close the eyes to avoid all these complications and may be to make it more romantic[;)]
