GDV, ServerGuy, Chicago and geraldo, thank you for your helpful input.
hk_juno, because they are here on a short trip only and they would like to sample HK nightlife, preferrably not without her son. Of course they have gone to a restaurant for dinner, but I was talking about drinks after, you see?
Roger, I am a member of a club, but the timing wasn't convenient for both parties. But thank you for your suggestion.

To be honest here - I don't think an 11 year old is really the right age to be sampling HK nightlife after dinner - with parent or not. During the day in a family friendly pub - fine. Dinner - fine. Nightlife? Nah.
After dinner? So what - 9pm or so? Wandering into bars in LKF or whatever - just not right for the 11 year old or the people out for their nightlife. Maybe in a quiet pub in a less popular area but otherwise I reckon the 11 year old shouldn't be wandering into bars.
Average by Intention.
