Tiger airways, Jet*Asia, Valuair,Air Asia etc...
Seems the low-cost airlines are booming.

Have been flying on a few and they are very competitive, not only in price but also in performance. As they use smaller airports there is less waiting time, they mostly depart on time, don't have to fly holding patterns upon arrival. Crews seem very good at doing kiss-landings, unlike our home-airline whose captain or first officer managed to perform a 3-point crash landing at S'pore's Changi AP a few days ago on a 777!
Any experiences with low-cost airlines you want to share?

Used BMI-Baby a few times earier this year, flying around Euroland and the UK.
No complaints considering the price. Just bring your own snacks, as they are horrendously expensive, but ticket prices and service were fine...

Have not used them in Euroland but agree on the price and service here. No need for buying their snacks. Not expensive in Asia but not good either. Next Eurotrip we'll try to get some local Euro-experience, flying around.
BMI-Baby doesn't ring a bell. Something to do with Brit. Midlands?

WS> Yes,I believe they are BMI (British Midlands)low-cost arm.
They fly out of Birmingham to major cities around Europe, ranging from prices of 20 to 40 Euro's

I had meetings and an exhibition in Birmingham, so BMI-Baby became thr logical choice for me...
