I thought its close to the island (by ferry). If not, what do you think is a good alternative?
i was hoping for a decent studio for around 7000? does this figure make sense?

thanks

It is really not sensible to try to decide where you want to live before you come to HK. Get a serviced apartment for a few weeks (preferably paid by your employer) and take a look around when you get here. It's impossible usefully to describe or recommend different districts to people who have never been here.

By MTR from Jordan is 16 minutes. From TST 14 minutes.

Yes, but why take the ferry if you live in North Point?

Different people have different opinions on the same place, so like FOTH said, it's probably "better" for yourself to find a flat after you have come over and visited the different places. Better to be safe than sorry as getting out of contracts are very difficult and very expensive.

FOTH,
Indeed a very strange situation. However I've managed to get a lot of reading done and I can even remember things that have happened. And I'm doing this hiking thing tomorrow. I may need a new alias.

I was thinking he'd look good over the trap door with a noose around his neck - if he has a neck?
