Which Apt building are the good ones..In every city everywhere, some bulidings have a better reputaions then others...Whats the the word in Mid levels and why its a good place to live?
Hopfully it will narrow our search a bit, and hopfully start an argument.

the problem is that every subjective opinion is different, coupled with the fact that time changes all.

I lived in conduit road for a few years, I loved it. Opinions can damage a reputation if by chance your apartment is close to a renovation project, you might be lucky or perhaps not. Matters not whether the building is new or old, renovation work in the adjacent apartment might ruin a persons view of a perfectly good building.

We will consume 85 million barrels of oil today, what's going to be left for tomorrow?

nikko,

You need to give us some idea of your budget and requirements... 50K gets you quite a different answer from 15K

Nikko it depends what you are looking for in terms of money, size, facilities. Do you want an older, bigger place or something new with more facilities? Best advice is to spend your first month in a hotel while you work out where you want to live & how you want to live.

Average by Intention.

for 12k you can get a nice 1300sq.ft in gold coast area, for the rest of your budget you can afford a nice car for go to work.

Where exactly will you be working? If it's in IFC or Exchange Square then being close to the Escalator is very handy, but if the office isn't adjacent to the escalator then being on a bus route is more important...

If she's not into crowds is it really wise to come and live in one of the most densely populated places on Earth?

nikko > As LT said above, it's a really good idea to spend the first month in a sevice appt / hotel and then you can check the place out properly and choose a suitable appt that fits your requirements before signing on the dotted line.
There are plenty of appts to choose from if your looking at 24K a month my friend.
