Looking for some recommendations here. Over the past 6 mths have watched The Ring and The Grudge and loved both of them. Best horror films since The Exorcist in my opinion. OK I know they were Western remakes of Japanese originals but it shows our Eastern friends have mastered the art of the Genre.
Any recommendations? Has anyone seen The Ring 2 yet ?

Hey hkbloke, I am not really into horror movies(I dream of it when I watch) but I have seen some of them....have you seen the "glass house"...its quite scary.Exorcist is actaully not a horror movie, its more about fighting with the devil power.

what did you like about the grudge? It started off solid and ended pointless, or did I miss something?
Help me out here. Did the Prof. kill himself because she made him do it, or because he felt guilty? Why was the kid a demon? Why was the sister affected?
Saw the ring two, and thought the first one was definetly better. I don't think I have seen a truly scary movie. Want to see Amityville (I know it is not Japanese), but being that it is based on a true story I think that makes it scary enough.
I'm bored, I'm pi*sy, and, I have no shame.

Gotta agree - the Japanese have mastered the genre and I really enjoyed the Ring and The Grudge (was worried it was gonna be a Buffy extension but was not).
