Any places where we can stay as my husband will be working in Tai Poh, where it is convenient to travel to hk island to work. Currently, we are offered to stay in Tin Shui Wai by my husband new company? We may think to move to other places whereby it is convenient, any suggestion?

From your other thread.

Working in HK Island?? Thought it was Tai Po and Yau Ma Tei??

Tai Po would be reasonable enough to get to HK Island from - a quick trip on the KCR to either Kowloon Tong or to TST East then across the harbour on the MTR.

I have a cunning plan ........

Like westdoor said, if you want to keep your options open then you may want to stay away from the Tin Shui Wai area and look towards the KCR East rail side of the New Territories of HK. Have a look at the maps that were offerred on one of your other threads ( http://www.hkexpats.com/HKXPosts~ID~6961~FORUM~6~CAT~11~PAGE~1.htm ) and see the different areas of HK and think about your options.

Tin Shui Wai is a new town and the flats there are comparatively lower-class but much cheaper rent. If you need more help, send an email to info@landspert.zip.io and I can give you more details.

In that case, best to move to somewhere near the KCR line. Tai Po and hk island are 2 different directions.

Some men were borned dicks.

Check your other thread which you may have forgotten about:
http://www.hkexpats.com/HKXPosts~ID~6961~CAT~11~FORUM~6.htm

There were answers about the general area, but nothing specific about Kingswood, so I would imagine that no-one has any first- or second- or any hand- info for you on that place. Maybe you could accept the offer of Kingswood for a couple of months after you first arrive and then maybe look for elsewhere if you're not happy with the place?

Tin Shui Wai is way out there. Tai Po is a better choice but it depends which part. Closest to the KCR will be best.

the distranc between Tai Po and Hong Kong island is quite far away, it mostly taking u an hour for travel.
Also, the distranc between Tin Siu Wai and Hong Kong island is much far, it mostly taking u an hour and half for travel.
Better think about it before find job in HK island. Of course the night time in HK island is much great then Tai Po and none at Tin Siu Wan.

Why you not buy a Hong Kong Map? There you can see everything you want to see.

Tin Shui Wai is not very nice and not at all convenient for for Tai Po.
Tai Po is much better. Lam Tsuen, which is just outside tai po town itself, is popular with expats - good public transport,
good choice of appartments or houses , reasonable rent, green.
Hong Lok Yuen(also in Tai Po) is also popular with expats, nice estate, decent clubhouse, pool etc and proper houses with gardens rather than appartments, for the same rent as what you'd pay on the island for a box in the sky.

Thanks Cilmeri. Any ideas on the rental for the apartment from these two places ? Is it convenient for us to travel from these 2 places to Kowloon ?
