The big number 5 this November (wedding anniversary - I know, you get less for murder!) and I thought I'd better get planning for what we're going to do, so here I am, at the alter of the oracle... weekends away!
Anywhere within one aeroplane flight would be perfect. Haven't tried any of the resort style joints around Thailand and the like, so they might be good, but I'm open to all suggestions!
I'll be going to Thailand in November anyway (Chiang Mai) so something more local might also be a good option.
Anyone done anything really good for a DINK couple? (Double Income No Kids)
PS: Family type resorts are out... I don;t want to be surrounded by screaming children when I'm trying to relax

I stayed @ Anantara during my visit to Koh Samui few weeks ago, It's a perfect place for a romantic getaway . The place is located about 10-15 mins from the Center so you get less traffic. The Place speaks for it self.
P.S Make sure your get a SPA package....Amazing

Is it restricted to Thailand? because mr h and spend a glorious 5 days at four seasons jimbaran bay in bali ... not at all for kids ... really for dinks ... or four seasons in the maldives which i believed just opened but is much pricey-er ....
I am an American - born and bred. And I wouldn't want it any other way.
