SG you don't fly that often, that could also be an issue.
TB is right, the service on Star Alliance is stunning, I'm gold on Thai since a number of years, but on other airliners within the group I get amazing service. Last time on united from HCMC I was hoping they wouldn't do the BJ bit (6AM flight after a night on the p**s, imagine ...), every other part was ahum ahum, flabbergastic.
