Looking to do this next year. Does anyone know of any travel companies in HK that specialise in doing this. I know there are 'packages' you can buy but need to find a 'distributor' in HK

Wow. Good onya. Don't know if Action Asia mag is still available but that used to have loads of stuff in the back with travel companies.

Interesting how you have to wait until another stage in your life to be able to afford the trip... financially fitter, but...

more a case of freedom from the kids. Personal time returns - could never justify going away for a week before.

Thanks - i will look into the action asia mag idea.

I'd start with Royal Nepal, see where that takes you
Room 704, 7/F, Lippo Sun Plaza, 28 Canton Road, Kowloon, 2375 9151

or perhaps http://www.hkmu.org.hk/index/index.html
mais il ya une petite probleme

Think I might try dealing with the trekking agencies in Nepal direct. A quick google turned up this board and several other sites instantly...

Next stop would be Lonely Planet.
