Is the best way to take MTR from Central to TST and then switch to KCR East Rail?
I've never switched at TST before - how long to walk from TST MTR to TST east KCR?
Sorry if this is a stupid question.

take the east rail from tst east and you get a better seat and only make one change. the other way you need to change at MK and KT. with the automated walkways at tst, it's quite fast and also more space

Yes.
I'd say 5 minutes. Kinda like walking from Hong Kong station to Central station.
