As you designed this basically good forum, was it your intention that one person use it for her platform to cover us with her opinions, advise etc.. I am not sure, but i feel that many visitor just give up to come to this site due the fact that the site get dominated from 1 (one) person. You not think it create a very bad picture to potential buyers of advertising space if on each thread you see the same person posting?
In my opinion the creator of the Guide for Shenzen should make a own website about the captioned and put a link on this site then we not must see her all over the place and everyone has the choice to read the story or not.
Furthermore, as we are in HK, it would make much your sense to create a shopping guide for HK and not for cross Border places as the majority of the HK Visitors of course not coming to HK to buy fabrics and material.

The idea, mango is that all people here contribute - I have just started the ball rolling. Once we get in some more comments from other people from their own experiences, then we can put together a full guide for newbies. So howsabout you help, eh? Don't worry - I only have two more topics in mind. Then I will pass it over to others ....

bit busy so can only reply in brief:
1) Have no intention of changing it. I am very grateful for the handfull of people that helped get this site going and for their valuable and intelligent contributions. What we need are more people like them - people that recognise and understand what we are trying to do and are willing to help out. The last thing we need are people who try and undermine the site.
2) I think advertisers will be attracted by mature and intelligent postings.
3) If you had been around earlier you would had seen that the idea is to use this as the first 'How to' guide for the site, and creating the Shenzhen threads was an excellent way to share different views and experiences.
4) Shopping in Shenzhen is a specific subject that is an ideal candidate for the How To guides. I am delighted with the content we have so far and many thanks to all those that contributed.
5) All posts ate clearly marked with the handle of the person who made it. I suggest you don't click on those threads that do not interest you.
Mango - Perhaps there is subject that you would like to write a guide about.

Naahhh. It's just I said I would and happened to have felt inspired today and had the time and internet access to do it. I realise it is a bit over the top - so many posts!!!!! But I think it is easier to break it up into smaller topics. And, as I said, I just happen to have the time today. Leaving for hols on the weekend, so Mango can take my place!!! [:x)] [:x)] [:x)]
