well, thanks to everyone that gave me sound advice on schools - we're coming over next week Friday 20th Oct for the so called 'orientation' and we're visiting a number of schools and a general look around HK to decide where we want to live etc. We're bringing the kids with us and need to organise some childcare whilst we're out at the schools etc - can anyone recommend where i start to look? i need someone for about 5 -7 days, daytime, for 2 boys age 2 and 6 - that speaks English. I'm a bit nervous leaving them with strangers in a different country - so want to make sure i make the right choice - please let me know if anyone has any ideas. thanks

Sorry Ash, but childcare is an odd issue here. If they can afford it, people usually have a maid to take care of that. i am not aware of a commercial child care organisation. Ask the folks that are showing you around. They might have some options if they do this alot.

ok i found this site:

www.thenannyexperts.com

i dont know anything about them but hope that will help. i wont suggest you to get some filipino/thai/sri lankan maid that you dont know to look after young kids for such a short time, its illegal if they are not hk residents...
