Hi everyone! Baby to this site! Hoping to find an Assemblies of God church around so that I can find my herd...Anybody know of such a church near the Central/Mid-levels area? (Preferably in my area, but no sweat, I'll go where the herd goes!)
If not, then any Christian Church would be a good start! Thanks!

Is that the right collective noun for Filipinas? I thought it was a gaggle. Or a quarrel. Or a garrul! Yes that's it!

Is it a herd of sheep, or a flock?

Mango,
You display your ignorance again. Victoria Park is where the Indonesians gather.

Assembly of God church? There's one in Kennedy Town on Catchick Street. The ground floor of Manhattan Heights.

LOL Thanks guys! And you're right AKA, it is a flock! Haha! I may/maynot find one, but at least I'm laughing all the way! AOG believes in the trinity of The Father (God), the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost (The Holy Spirit). It's mainly the difference of belief in a use of the powers of the Holy Spirit. So I'd watch it whilst talking to me! (I've got backup- big time....)

The church believe in saving our souls. Priests love our souls. Especially little ones.

No! Of course not! It's not you, or the directions! It's me! I have no idea where Kennedy Town is and I have zilch sense of direction.....Does that clarify things for you? I probably would find it. Eventually....why else do u think I call myself HK lostsheep??

Hop on a tram going West which says Kennedy Town on the front. Remain on it until the end of the line. HK$2 all the way. You can't go wrong.

Thank you all! (For being my angels for the day!)
I'm off to find my flock!
Just a gentle reminder...
...."Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good sheperd. The good sheperd gives His life for the sheep." John 10:7-11
God bless you all!

"O Lord our Father, our young patriots, idols of our hearts, go forth to battle -- be Thou near them! With them -- in spirit -- we also go forth from the sweet peace of our beloved firesides to smite the foe. O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it -- for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
Mark Twain
Though I got to know it through The Shamen album 'In Gorbechev We Trust'.
