There are plenty of shops selling it here, it's just that the quantity, quality and variety of the 'life' is highly dubious. I have never bought it myself, but have frequently heard Freak's comments being expressed, that it it not true live rock being sold by the Tung Choi St chancers (and I doubt Tai Koo is any different).
I would imagine this topic has been discussed at great length in the past on the reefclub site and that Freak's advice to order form overseas is sound. Perhaps he can provide a website or two that will ship to HK.

hi sorry it took a while i was looking if i still had it on file at home, but cant find anything about it anymore.
what one fried of me did to get his tank and rocks more live was fly to philippines for a few days holiday and on his last day he went diving, picked up few small pieces of rock full of live and a few scoops of gravel with whatever lives in there, puts it in bags, in a styrofoam container and fly home.
he tells customs inspecters if they ask about the box that its food and he never had problems.

Hk would be a wonderful place to keep fish. Dont know much about the water qual nowadays.
I have 5 gold fish now, 3 kois and 2 feeder GF.
They have travelled 400 miles north and 400 miles south to van now.
The big thing is keep the water for a day or 2 before putting it in.
If u need to change then 10% volume is about right.
Use to have many tanks, biggest is about 100 gal sitll smaller than the 700 L.
Have a 7-8 ft plexiglass tank sitting in storage now, but no place to keep it, i'll sell her someday. Need a big house to keep her. good luck folks
is the tank placement got too much distraction, so fish cannot rest?

Hi Halo In Vancouver a lot of aqu places sell Plexiglass tanks, they're light weight as compare to glass, a draw back as it can scratch much easier than glass. This tank must had sold for over $1000 new then. Now has a bit of scratch.
Should u come this way, can buy u a pint when in town.

i prefer glass iover plexi, as plexi distorts quite much due to bend. however plexi tanks seem to be constructed in a more high end way compared to mainland china made glass tanks.

Yes the Plexi tends to magnifi too and worse around the corner. U're not suppose A 6 ft glass tank would need a few folks to move them.
