Yickdai you have to explain to me how on earth can you call this an appratment? and how on earth can any space of 540 sq ft contain asides from a living, kitchen and bathroom ALSO 2 bedrooms? that would merely be cupboards, and not bedrooms.
i think you have to re-0read your advert as i think you may have mistakenly typed 540 instead of 1540, expecially after reading the price i come to this conclusion that you made a typo, after all not even in HK will ANYONE be that stupid to pay 19,800 a month for 540 sq feet

its probably becos the poster spent an absolute fortune to buy this very deluxe centrestage flat (ie. apartment) where the developer used top quality material and much money on advertisiing.
dont blame the landlord, blame the marketiing people.
and chef, after staying in hk for so long you still havent seen some 2 bedroom flats under 400 sq ft?

advertised as such yes, but i refuse to accept that that are called bedrooms, to my standards that are called at Max walk in closets
anyway i stick with it i think its a terrible type, 540 sq feet shouold read off course 1540 sq feet for such price

I was in a new "flat", 400sqf, just off Caine road for about 10k, that's 4 years or so ago
(2 bedrooms  )

Chef, 20k 540 sq ft in mid levels? Sounds about right. I wouldn't go for it myself but to a certain type of expat that's just the sort of gaff they are looking for - within puking distance of LKF and SoHo and convenient for a job in t' town.

when you have to pay 10K+ per sq ft to buy such property, you WILL have to rent it at a ridiculous price.
and there WILL be market for it. just like i think its stupid to spend 10K on a bleedy handbag with yucky G and LV patterns on it, some people treat it like diamonds.

It would be great if rents would go down and sizes up. I cannot believe how tiny some flats are.
Some are not even the size of a hotel room!
