it is a real mish mash place. Businesses, middle easter scamers, residential etc...

The location is good.

SARS started at the Metropole Hotel far away from TST.

I'm available to write reviews of bars as long as they are s**t holes.

did they say 'night night, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite -no, seriously, we have bed bugs here'?

I stayed at a very good little hotel in Chung King Mansions a couple of years ago. The quality varies tremendously for the same price.

The problem with chung king is getting up through the building to your hotel. The elevator system is bad and the public areas are not clean.

That a racialist comment ??

The spread of SARS in HK was believed to have started at the Metropole Hotel

I have a cunning plan ........

I used to hang out there often with a friend who stayed in Mirador than Chung King Mansion later. Though it was over 15 years ago, the hostels weren't too bad.

Does it have to be TST? Some in CWB are fairly decent, although quirky and quaint they ain't.

This one in Mongkok is supposed to be okay.

So did I! Mirador was fine. Much better than Chungking, because the lifts are not a problem.
