My head is buzzed by all those offers of preschool education in Hong Kong. I'm going to move to Hong Kong from Tokyo this summer and I am looking for a good and warm preschool for my children. Can anybody help? OH, and bytheway, we also have no clue where we should live yet. Thanks!

As always, the suggestion is that you move to wherever you find a good preschool. But if you are staying to when they go to primary school, you might also check them out too. There are a few on the Island - a lot depends on how your children respond to various regimes. Montessori is big, there is one that a friend took her 3 yr old to at Repulse Bay that was different. As well, there are programmes for preschoolers, like music, gym etc on the Island and on Kowloon-side. But? It is really caveat emptor and also, what your children need. Best to find a serviced apartment and spend some time checking them all out before you chose where you live. Try the various national associations too. Most have mothers' mornings. Eg the American Womens' Association, the Australian one, the British one. You don't have to have the same nationality to go along to any of these, btw.
