I had Lunch at a joint called "Dot Cod" in Statue Square last week and absolutely loved the food and service. The tables were a little close together for my liking but that's HK for ya.

Bacar or Enoteca (the same group) do really excellent tapas-type food and have a good selection of wine by the glass. Not the cheapest in town, but well worth it. You'd need to book most nights.

Wagyu or the chinese place oposite down the stairs. Have not tried Frag Face Fish yet but heard it is good.

Agree Enotica is superb also.

Il Padrino is a nice cozy place for Italian Food
For a snooty experience, word on the street that "Duke Burger" takes the current reigning title
Check out recent issues of HK and bc magazine

I don't enjoy going to Dot Cod as much as I used to. Their previous chef was much better.
