Seems like the Indo legal system is about the defendent having to prove themselves innocent, rather than the prosecution having to prove guilt. No fingerprints, dodgy arrest procedures - only piece of hard evidence was that the boogie board belonged to her, no evidence that she was responsible for the dope. Guilty or not, she would not have been found it under a legal system that requires the prosecution to prove guilt. Judge apparently has a record 500 out of 500 guilty verdicts. Guess he didn't want to lose face.
